Close time gaps based on Netflix Guidelines chain subtitles, close intervals between 2 and 12 frames
According to Netflix Subtitle Timing Guidelines,
- Subtitles must have a minimum of 2 frames between them
- Any gaps between subtitles of 3-11 frames inclusive must be closed to 2 frames.
In other words, gaps between subtitles should either be 2 frames or 12 frames or more.
To meet this requirement,

Make sure the Minimum time gap in Project Settings is set to 2 frames

Run Checks or Run Fixes to chain subtitles under 12 frames
[Subtitle menu – Run Fixes (available in Pro version only)]
Run Fixes - Chain / Fix time gap - will try to auto-fix all the events.
If you only want to fix too short time gaps, you can run this fix with the value equal to the minimum time gap. E.g. setting the value to 2 will fix all the gaps under 2 frames.
