Setting a user as Sales person

The Salesperson pull-down menu is populated from all the users in the system that are set as Salespeople.
To set a user as a Salesperson, navigate to the Resource information page and set the “Is Salesperson” switch to ON.

Setting Sales people in orders

The salesperson is set on the order level at various stages:

  1. During order creation

    1. Revert to “full view” (fig 1)

    2. Select the required “Sales person” from the list (fig 2)

  2. Editing an existing order

    1. From “Sales dashboard” click on the “Order info” icon (fig 1)

    2. Open the “Additional information” tab (fig 2)

    3. Select the required “Sales person” from the list (fig 3)

Using the Sales person field

The Salesperson field is filterable from the range allowing you to easily locate orders associated with a specific salesperson

Setting a Customer level default Sales person

A salesperson can be set on a customer level so it would be selected by default when creating orders for this customer.

  1. Navigate to Manager > Rolodex tables > Customers > Magnifying glass (fig 1-3)

  2. Select the “Default Sales Person for order creation” from the list (Fig 4)

When copying orders, the Salesperson is copied across to the new orders
