Even if the column is not enabled in the grid or requires to scroll to see it, it will still be conveniently displayed in the Right-click Menu and available for easy access.
The Right-click menu functionality is currently only available on the following pages:

Sales dashboard > Tasks page (aka Resource allocation to task page)

Sales dashboard > Languages page (aka Consolidated order date update page)
Simply Right-click on any cell within a given line to open the menu:

The Right-click menu functionality can be enabled/disabled on a system-level from: Administrator > Web Administrator > Configuration > Setting > Enable Right-click menu switch (fig 5):
